Mr. Brennan is Managing Partner and co-founder of Lincoln Peak Capital, a long-term, supportive equity partner to high-quality asset management firms across diverse asset classes and investment strategies. Mr. Brennan has three decades of experience investing in and providing strategic and business support to asset managers and their leadership teams, and since Lincoln Peak’s inception has successfully partnered with category-leading firms that collectively manage more than $100 billion. He has extensive expertise assisting managers with a wide range of essential initiatives, including succession planning, incentive alignment, product development, distribution strategy, capital structure optimization, and strategic opportunities, among others.
Prior to founding Lincoln Peak in 2008, Mr. Brennan was Executive Vice President and a member of the founding management team at Affiliated Managers Group, Inc. (NYSE: AMG), where he was responsible for overseeing AMG’s acquisition activities, completing over 20 successful acquisitions and investing approximately $2 billion. Previously, Mr. Brennan was in the Global Insurance Investment Banking Group at Morgan Stanley & Co. and in the Financial Institutions Group at Wasserstein, Perella & Co. Mr. Brennan serves on the Board of Trustees of Deerfield Academy and formerly served as Chair of the Board of Trustees of The Park School, on the Board of Advisors of the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum, and as an Independent Director of Artisan Partners Asset Management (NYSE: APAM). He received a BA from Hamilton College.
